Sometimes, 1 & 2 are grouped as “pod networking” and 3 & 4 as “service networking.”. In the Kubernetes networking model, in order to reduce complexity and make app porting seamless, a few rules are enforced as fundamental requirements : Containers can communicate with all other containers without NAT.
